Rumfield had won a minor league golden glove award last season. He could be the mix for 1B next spring. The Yankees had acquire him from the Phillies in the Donny Sands trade.

Wow Matt, Arias is on a tear. Earlier this season it looked like he might be lucky to get 5 hits in a week. If he proves to be a good fielder he’s gonna make a fine infielder in a couple years…

He's a work in progress. 19 year-olds are hard to figure out.

If I recall, Jeter was at .202 his first year in low MiLB. Mike Schmidt, Aaron Judge, Reggie Jackson all hit below .200 theirs first in MLB. Sometimes there’s just a feeling, like a switch I’d gonna get thrown and a guy will never look back…
