I would say that Kluber is out of that early season stage of command issues, high pitch counts, and 3.1 inning starts. This game may be the best he ever been. 9 K’s already?...

So, I’m putting myself in the place of a kid in school in the Olde English Society right now. He has a homework assignment to write the letter “D”. He’s been working on it for three hours so far and he’s thrown away 64 sheets of papyrus. His dad’s on his ass because papyrus isn’t cheap, and they had a poor crop of berries this year to make ink... if the kid doesn’t pass penmanship this semester there’s gonna be hell to pay because he’s not going pass on to the next row in the school house...
You look at that lettering and think about us talking about “penmanship” the other day... we have NO clue...
