He pitched a lot of innings against the Yankees. Always a look of confused anger and an open mouth. He was a competitor on the mound, though. Yep. You never expected an easy day with him. Those Angels’ teams were frustrating. Bloops, swinging bunts, seeing eye singles. So many bounces went their way. Garrett Anderson, Tim Salmon, Darin Erstad was a solid outfield.

Good trivia question. Bobby Bonds has to be one, Soriano another.

Pretty good pitching line outside of the homers.

Sciosia was very punchable but a good manager.

I feel like the astros are the new angels. The Angels didn't cheat their way through things. True, but those stupid thunder sticks and that rally monkey were mighty irritating at the games in Anaheim.

Good trivia question. Bobby Bonds has to be one, Soriano another. I'm stumped on this one. I do think the two you named are definitely on that list. I have some recollection that Canseco was the first 40-40. Although Mantle or Mays could have done it had it been a thing back then.

Spiezio and Kennedy were solid ball players, too. Remember, Chone Figgins off the bench? And, Ron Gant.
