My new medicine dose is really working good today. I was able to sweep the floor without panting. Why, just yesterday I was only able to put my pants on without sweeping...

My sister has been telling me I need to get out and walk. She lives 1600 miles from me and despite having no idea what I do, she always knows what I need to do. So I told her I walked around the block 12 times today. It was a Lego block, but it makes her happy... Going to miss part, probably all of this one. It’s “go pick up Ruthie at the airport day”. Her plane is coming in very close to time for the first pitch. I know she’s going to land hungry, so we’ll be stopping for dinner. She could even land horny if I’m lucky... |

Not sure these old time baseball players could even make the roster of these bigger, stronger, better athletes of today. Love to have Jeter young and back at SS right now. It would be a different team. Of course the same is true of Mo, but his current replacement is doing pretty well himself... |

The last time the Rays team was good they had to break it down after six consecutive years of winning records. They’re on a four year run entering this year. In a couple seasons, with Toronto coming on, Tampa may be into another fire sale... let’s just pound them today... |

Also noted: The Rays old slap the ball around style was a real pesky sort of attack. With all their strikeouts it looks like they may be intentionally trying to up their power game. I don’t think it plays well for them...

Boone has to submit his upstairs, then Cashman has to wait til after Hal’s afternoon nap is over to take it in for approval. Hal calls his mom to see if she likes it “I believe we should play the red-headed boy today”. After that’s done, the line up is posted... |
