Crossing my fingers. It could just be fatigue. He threw a shit-ton of spitters, er, I mean curve balls, in that no hitter. Reminded me of a miniature of Steve Stone gathering himself to throw curve ball after curve ball for a whole season to win 25 games. Ruined his career, but he said it was worth it. Maybe he is still fatigued from that start. In retrospect, maybe an extra day or two of rest would have helped... |

I guess I’m thankful that I had an extended meeting with my clients this evening. I missed the whole game, even the gratuitous late runs that didn’t mean much...

Hope the extended meeting went better than the game! Everything was done as expected, and a future sales call is set. No one got injured, though I did take a small spill earlier in the day... I have a really big day scheduled for tomorrow, but I I can stick to my schedule I should be home in time to catch from about the throes inning on...After that, the schedule lightens quite a bit until after the Holiday... |

Missed the game, running errands. Looks like Higgy and Frazier were the offense tonight. Good Matz showed up this time. Another Grichuk home run against the Yankees  . Vlad Jr. might become the bane of the American League East for the Yankees. Real bummer about Kluber. Hopefully, it’s not serious and he can continue an otherwise solid start to the season. Watched the condensed game. Just when Gleyber starts hitting to make you forget his shortcomings, he makes a horrible throw home that costs two runs. We could use a real shortstop. Sandwich looking like another below .200 year, swinging right through fastballs over the plate. Thought he was about to turn things around. Too optimistic on my part. |
