Tyler Wade.....he has had some atrocious AB's in the majors, but none worse than the 2-foot dp ball with the bases loaded and none out......he has come up so small in that type of situation, that I thnk he must feel he is, or really is, overwhelmed at this level……..it's a big jump for the marginally talented, and I fear Wade is one of those... I’m still a believer... |

Horrible news. What are we going to do without him the rest of the season???
If you put yourself in his place, I’m sure it’s not where he’d like to be. From a human aspect, it must be depressing. Of course, $70M goes a long way to soothe a portion of that...
Now for the really good news...we get to watch his comeback attempt next spring...and if healthy he’ll be on the team blocking a younger player...

Yes Ellsbury is gone after 2020...unless the Yankees pick up that $21mm team option in 2021 LOL.

Then again it was hard to imagine them signing him to this contract. Hopefully after the surgery he comes to the same decision Rodriguez did and gives up so they can cut a deal to move forward without him. |
