Are they deliberately throwing games? Stanton worn out after his two consecutive games played? This is blatantly irrational unless Stanton and Torres are injured. Maybe they just assume that with Glasnow pitching they're going to lose anyway. It stopped making sense a long time ago. The resting policy is so radical that it must be coming from the front office. Kay stated that nothing is wrong with either, just a “regular day off.” Abject lunacy. True. Except that is a nice way of saying that Stanton is lost at the plate, and Torres is lost in space. Sort of a less demonstrable benching... |
