I’m watching the Cubs vs San Diego. Our old reliever David Weathers’ son Ryan Weathers is a lefty starter for the Padres. Here’s the rub: he’s 2-2 with the bat! Solid hits, too.

He might be the dumbest on the bases and best at throwing baserunners out in history. The first part, yes. The second, far too much credit given... I was going for the combo. He really is bad at everything and has been for 3 years. Just get rid of him already. |

I think most of that is on the pitchers and Torres, who has dropped a couple throws that would have been outs. Gary does have a good arm. |
