Think we've only scored more than 3 runs in 2 of the last 9 games. Hard to beat anybody like that.

The Mets are last in like every category offensively almost and have basically the same record as the Yankees, but its still good enough to lead their division. Anyway the Yankees are tied with the Mets for last in doubles, they are last in triples, and 3rd to last in RBI yet they are second in the AL and 5th in mlb in walks. So they def are getting people on base, but their lack of extra base hits hurt them bad. I can't see to find where the stats are for Homeruns with people on base or not? I'm guessing that can't be too high either if they are last in XBH.

Also the Yankees have only 7 games out of 59 where they hit more than 2 hr in a game.

It’s almost like we’ve never heard of the three run home run…. That used to be Gleyber’s calling card. He hit more three run dingers than anyone else on the Yankees. And still curiously has hit 23.5% of his career HR vs. Oriole pitching. He remains an enigma to me. The juiced ball, Oriole pitching. It seems he’s been propped up by something to be something he’s not. I really don’t like him all that much unless he’s hitting those HR. He’s an odd fit on this team for me…
