We just saw Stanton play really well earlier this year no reason he can't I think he can still carry a team for a stretch. But the constant injuries and long recovery make me skeptical about how this contract will play out in the long run. If I'm not mistaken, there are six more years after this one. I wish him well, and he has enormous talent, but I don't think the Yankees will get anything close to what they expected when it's all said and done. |
