Boy. The collapse of Sanchez. The injuries of Voit and Severino. Stanton being whatever he is and the Torres funk have set this team back a long, long way. I don’t understand this disease, but even DJ has it. Urshela and Judge are the only two that seem to be immune…

Since coming back from his injury on May 28, Stanton has started six out of a possible ten games. His last RBI was May 9. His last home run was May 6.
If he needs reps to get his timing back, that won't do it. And if he's not physically able to even DH on anything more than a part-time basis, maybe he should still be on the IL.
The Yankees are giving us the worst of both worlds with this approach.

Two batters in and the mute button comes on for me. I hate this broadcasting crew. I hate almost everything about ESPN, and this broadcast crew is one of the reasons. Typically it gets worse as the game goes on and they start rambling while ignoring the actual game. At least no Jessica this year. I'm thankful for small favors. |
