Kind of hard to believe Pineda is still pitching. Even though he’s only 32, he only seems to pitch a few inning here’s and there. Still effective, too. Such a big guy at 280 pounds. He’ll probably chew our lineup up and spit it out today… I thought he was going to be a big part of the Yankees in the 2010’s… a star…

Yes, those 7 at bats told Boone all he needed to know. To be fair, Boonie probably thought Gittens was exhausted after playing back to back games and this is a good way to get him two days of rest.

Your not a true Yankee until you’ve had time off for an injury to the solar plexus… I expect we’ll hear he’s on the ten day IL as soon as possible…then out for the season…
