Only 18 pitches through two innings for Nola. He hasn't pitched like this all year. You can’t count out those Louisiana boys.

Oh no, even the ultimate positive poster, Anthony has reached his topping point. This team is doomed.

Happy to see that German is no longer packing about 40 ounces of tobacco into his lower lip. It used to distort his face to comic proportions. Hope he’s quit the nasty habit… I always thought it was a Weather's original butterscotch candy.

While Andujar is improved in the field there are def some catches I feel he can make that he does not. He’s still and always will be a bat-first guy. He’s gunned a couple people down with his arm, but in at least one of those cases he could have perhaps made the catch in the first place instead of having the guy going for two. I don’t see a long time starting left-fielder in him, at least if it is, I hope it’s in another city. I do see a growing home run swing. He’s apparently learning to elevate more…

Oh no, even the ultimate positive poster, Anthony has reached his topping point. This team is doomed. It’s almost cruel that we made that little run at first place, only to reveal what apparently seems to be the true nature of this team… A listless bunch of paycheck collectors… Bad defense… slow, and poor base running. A collection of hitters that aren’t hitting…

Oh no, even the ultimate positive poster, Anthony has reached his topping point. This team is doomed. I didn't know Anthony was the ultimate positive poster, but I knew he thinks the roster is better than they have shown on the field. Even so, it is very hard to ignore the obvious, even with rosy glasses. When I see chronic ineptness for an extended period, I lose interest. My Yankee interest has been waning for a number of years, and is about to peter out entirely. Hal is about to lose a large number of fans who once could have been considered die-hards. I think GM and Manager changes are necessary, if only to give some hope to people like me, and make us hang on for a few more years.

Oh no, even the ultimate positive poster, Anthony has reached his topping point. This team is doomed. Theres roughly 100 games left in this season. The Jays are killing the Red sox right now. Most of the season I think the Yankees while wanting to win the division just used the regular season as we can rest these people cause we have a high chance of making the playoffs anyway then we will turn it on then. Well those plans don't seem like they are guaranteed anymore either. You can't keep bringing in these below average or out of position guys and expecting them to produce. I felt all weekend that they would just kind of like not care about this two game series, because we need to rest people etc.

I dunno how you can't think on paper this roster should be in first place. Its the utilization of it and the execution that is the problem. Theres hundreds of home runs on this roster combined.

The Phillies' former (unsuccessful) GM Reuben Amaro Jr. is in their broadcast booth today. If memory serves, he was one of Jwild's students in his stat class at Stanford.
