Beautiful baserunning Odor! A work of art!
He's a 3-tool player--poor defense, poor hitter and poor baserunner. Maybe he's just a tool.

You're not wrong. inger used terms like listless and slow to describe this team and I agree. I'd throw in stale and plodding. They move station to station on the bases and they never makes things happen or put pressure on the other team's pitchers. They just sit back and wait for the HR. They're not good defensively and they terrible on the base paths. All this starts at the top with Cashman and poor roster construction. And it's not just at the major league level, check out the roster at AAA Scranton. There's a lot of non-prospects there. www.baseball-reference.com/register/team.cgi?id=b2fd258eI just feel like some of these players aren't even playing their own game either. Like the in past a guy would come up from AAA and maybe light the world on fire for a month etc. So far anyone thats come up has mostly just fell into the same spell the rest of the team has... Too many big hitters and not enough base hitters. Might be the worst I have seen this team play in 20 years or so and a lot of that has to do with construction.

Odor with the latest baserunning hilarity. These are the kinds of things the 1962 Mets did. Do they even know it's wrong? It's a real reflection on Boone, even if it isn't his fault. He needs to stop being there buddy and put an end to this nonsense.

The Red Sox are 14-10 since May 15 that isn't an amazing pace the Yankees shouldn't have been able to keep up with instead they are 11-14 in the same stretch.
Rays we're 22-19 they have gone 19-5 since.
Blue jays are 10-13
So except the Rays who are playing an amazing stretch of baseball there is really no reason the Yankees shouldn't have been able to pass these other teams by now.

I'm sorry for all the ranting guys that Twins game just kind of broke me. That was prob their best offensive game all year and they still left a million guys on base and lost. Better to rant on here than do something silly, like throw your remote through the wall. Then you're looking drywall costs and the need for a new remote.

I see no improvement at all from the start of the season.

We’re hanging onto too many players that are not playing up to what the team’s standards should be. My hit list: Odor Torres Frazier Stanton (I know) Sanchez Why not Gardner? It’s the end. He’s at least putting out the effort… And he’s staying on the field when others aren’t…

Luetge at least continues to pitch well. Not many positives on this team right now.

That's the way it's gone for Frazier. He has a great AB, works a walk and the ump screws him.
