I guess this means Andujar and probably Wade too are heading to Scranton.

I like Todd Walker because he played college ball at LSU, but he's like 45 years old, and he's not Ichiro. Now, Neil Walker means Torres isn't quite ready for prime time. The guy has dealt with a series of injuries, though. Perhaps he's just insurance, as he can play several positions.

In fact, once Walker is signed, someone has to come off the 40- my bet is Torreyes- UNLESS the Yanks decide to put Estrada on the 60 day DL.

This probably means its Drury and Walker going north with the team. No Andujar. Sad.

I'd be impressed if the Yanks did give Toe's job to Wade. I just thought they would want Wade playing everyday at Scranton. I guess this means Andujar and probably Wade too are heading to Scranton. I guess its a good signing for 2nd base but I'd really like it if Andujar made the team over Drury which I doubt happens.

Don't understand why everyone wants to ditch Torreyes. Guy hits .280-.300 consistently and plays decent infield. He's a starter on most teams I would think.

He has no power or patience and limited stealing ability. His fielding is just passable. Even with his high batting average his slash line was a miserable .292/.314/.375 with a puny .689 OPS and 81 OPS+. And its not like he has a long track record of high batting average. This was his first 300+ AB season in the majors. Who knows if he can keep up the high batting average?

I think you've started a He Amy Ha tradition, CHI. For example if the Yankees now pickup Alex Cobb, I'm gonna start a thread called "Yankees sign Ty Cobb!".
