Kind of surprised Gardner has 4 grand slams for not much of a power hitter.

Not rude at all. Busy, pre-occupied more than say the people in Grover's Corners, but typically helpful and refreshingly worldly. Endless number of things to do. We were practically in a state of collapse after our first few months and had to dial it back a little, maybe stay in one night a week. I think the same of Parisians, who people claim are so rude. We have had 95 percent positive experiences in Paris. People go there looking to be offended and feel obligated to say they were. Don't believe it. If you like NYC, you would probably like Paris. Grover’s Corners? As in Thornton Wilder, “Our Town”? Yeah, I knew you'd recognize it. We saw a production of "Our Town" when we lived in New York and Paul Newman was the narrator. You come to expect that kind of thing in New York. In the Playbill, Newman was described as a tomato sauce manufacturer who was also involved in auto racing. No mention of his acting career. As if they had to.

Can't believe Boone is allowing Taillon to stay in. Someone better check on him to see if he's okay.

We’d have to stop for chicken fingers or a burnt steak the entire ride. Damn straight. But I can hold my pee with the best of them. Bladder of a rhino! When I lived in MD, I had the option of AMTRAK. Never went though. Perhaps I dreaded what would be outside the train. I think the ride was maybe 2.5 hours or so. Not that bad…

As if they had to. That was my one regret while in NYC, not taking in a Broadway show. Sarah went to Book of Mormon, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and Wicked. She went with a middle school friend who lives in NYC. She and I had decided before the trip that she didn’t have to accompany me to the Yankee games at Citifield and Yankee Stadium. I was with my Yankee buddy Joe and his wife, so Sarah and I would spend the mornings and evenings together. While I attended the afternoon games, she attended the matinees.
