Always glad to play the Royals. Usually a good result, but it makes me feel old. I played college ball with Whit Merrifield's dad. It couldn't have been that long ago, could it? Pretty cool, Renfield! Good old Bill Marrifield from Wake Forest I see. You should hit him up for some tickets. 
What position did you play?
I was a pitcher, not so good. Bill Merrifield was a shortstop. Very good. Bill actually works for Wake Forest--at least he did a few years ago. He called me when I expressed disgust at their not firing Danny Manning after his second consecutive 11 win basketball season. He went on to have a third 11 win season and they finally canned him. |

Taillon works out of trouble!
Maybe Jameson has turned the corner. I sure hope so. I expect him to be a big part of this staff for the rest of his contract…I was excited we were able to get him… |
