I propose a new sabermetrics. I will call the Inger Sanction. If your strike out ratio is more than 5 percent above the league median you are sanctioned and thus not eligible to be acquired by the Yankees. Which would of course be the opposite of our present philosophy.

I remember they interviewed Thames a couple weeks ago and his response was they are instructed to hit the ball hard, well maybe thats not the best advice..
