Pitched really well last few games but man this offense is gonna burn the pitching staff out. Need some comfortable wins now and then. Cashman must get some LHBs in the next few weeks. And Chapman issue is becoming a major problem. 16 million for a guy who is just a mop up man right now. I was nervous that Boone would insert Chapman for that last out, and the out might not ever come. This might be one time we can be glad for the three batter minimum. It might have stopped Boonie from moving… |

Not defending Boone, but his visit may have had an unintended consequence in giving Cole a jolt of adrenaline! Three pitches later, ballgame!  I'd like to think that Boone is that smart, but.... He’s not, that’s why it was an “unintended” consequence. |

All the pep talks from Boone, player only meetings, don't mean anything compared to this performance by Cole. If this doesn't fire up the team nothing will! Let's sweep these damn Asteriks tomorrow!
