I would have said maybe Frazier or Andujar would be packaged in a trade maybe a week ago, but hard to see them going now if they have injuries with no answers as of now. I could see "Maybe" Torres if they got a talented OF back, but I would go with the same answers as you at this point with the information we have now.

Any idea why Stanton goes so hot and cold? It just seemed like he was more consistent when he was with the Marlins.
Losaiga has really stepped it up this year I was surprised to see he had some of the stats he did.

Losaiga has really stepped it up this year I was surprised to see he had some of the stats he did. STANTON: After losing two of his prime seasons, he has never recovered his timing. Forty one games total in 2019, 2020 combined. Some great hitters were through at 31. I think we’re lucky Stanton has anything left after having missed so much time. His reflexes may be diminishing. He’s one of those situations where the sum value may longer be equal to the sum of his parts… And as I mentioned in the game thread tonight, attendance should count… does not attend to the field anymore, is not asked to run at full effort… He’s just not what he was three or four years ago…

I guess like you said reflexes can cause that.

He is said to have used that set up when he hit 59 home runs. He’s not the same 27- year old man. But he’ll get got with it here and there. He could get hot once in a while standing on his head, he’s that strong. We need him Shorter to the ball, and forget about going to right field all the time. Just hit the ball…

Any insight into why Judge hits so many HR with no one on base?

Will the Yankees make any trades and for who? No big trades. We will stand pat. Team MVP -- Judge Most disappointing-- Torres, with Chapman and Frazier breathing down his neck. Biggest surprise-- Luetge. Nestor coming up on the outside. Not on team August 1 -- Kriske. But he'll be back August 2 when (your name here) is placed on the IL with elbow discomfort Any trades -- If they sweep Boston coming out of the break, I could see them making a move for a CFer or SP or even BP help. But that's unlikely, so probably just more treading water and more excuses and more "we're almost there." If they continue this uninspired play, I hope the fans keep showing up as empty seats, even against Boston. This soulless front office needs tangible evidence that we aren't buying what they're selling. At some point we even click off YES, which is the real life-blood.

Any idea why Stanton goes so hot and cold? It just seemed like he was more consistent when he was with the Marlins. Losaiga has really stepped it up this year I was surprised to see he had some of the stats he did. If you look at his career and review game logs, he has always been a very streaky hitter. Even in his career year with the Marlins in 2017 in which he hit 59 homers, he went 14 games without a home run, then hit 17 in only 23 games. Also, he wasn’t just hitting homers, as he batted over .400 during that streak, much like we saw this season before getting hurt. But, that single year was an outlier, as he has never hit 40 home runs in a season before or since. Essentially, if he plays in 100 or more games, he’ll be between 22 (rookie year) and 38 (his first season with the Yankees). And, he’s on that same pace this season.

Still of use for sure just wish him and Judge got these HRS with more people on base.

What lousy grades for what is supposed to be a premier team! Don't disagree with those grades. Except for the pitching coach, I would give everyone else who has any part in this huge mess a FAIL. Just how long before there is a organizational change to give some hope to a moribund franchize?
