Gil has to be on the shopping list of a lot of teams… I wish we could get a look at him first before we send him packing… I'd trade him in a package for Berrios. Probably a pipe dream though I’ve never dreamt of pipes. |

Joe Girardi is one of two men to manage a team who he defeated in the World Series. Who is the other? Joe Torre managed then defeated the Braves in the WS. Does that count? This is a tough question I think they mean they beat the team as a manager first then later managed that team. So in the Torre example he would have to manage the Braves after. |
