I’ve always been a believer in Wade. I thought his defense, versatility…he’s eventually hit enough. Now we want a .100 hitter in the lineup instead of him. I’m ready for Wade to move on somewhere… Wade was a decent hitter in AAA, guessing he got caught up in the launch angle revolution. He needs to go somewhere else and get more PT. Im with you Inger, thought he'd be a nice ballplayer on our club for years - boy were we wrong. Even his speed hasn’t played all that well in MLB… an all-around disappointment… To me, I always go back to the year he worked out with Pujols and came to ST thinking he had unlocked his power. Had a great ST, but when the bell rang he was all punched out… |

Bad baserunning by Florial. All too familiar this season. Not a good enough of a secondary lead, then broke back to first with the pitch instead of staying on his toes to watch the pitch. Should have been a fairly easy take of second. |
