I expected Voit to play a few minor league games again before returning? I'd expect them to allow Voit a very leisurely return since now his role is backup first baseman and part-time DH. Assuming they go with a four-man bench, when he does return it will be very non-versatile-- Voit, Higgy and Odor have only ever played one position, and then the Eternal Gardner in the OF. Yeah, I know Voit played one inning in RF a few years ago. Maybe it will help Stanton if him and Voit switch off DH get some additional rest this team loves. |

Luke has played 29 games this year, so we need to keep him fresh. And after 3 or 4 innings in LF, Stanton will be plum tuckered out. Rest, rest and more rest. The key to athletic success. |

Stanton, Gallo and Judge are a combined 19 feet 6 inches. Thats one big outfield. What’s their combined weight? 775 pounds? It’s an outfield of body guards. Close! Using Baseball reference, a lucky 777 pounds! |
