Yep. Those were pitches he has to handle. And it happens all the time and it's not like his offense makes up for it. I know he hits the 420-foot blasts, but not enough to make up for his other glaring shortcomings. |

There is little as wonderful as a Gary Sanchez hot streak with the bat. But when he sets up cold it’s like concrete curing. You don’t think you’ll ever be able to move him again. I think he needs a day off. It’s Higgy time!… |

But when he sets up cold it’s like concrete curing. You don’t think you’ll ever be able to move him again. I think he needs a day off. A 2019 Urshela and Torres, last year’s Voit and DJ. I guess we’d take 2016 Sanchez and something from around that era from Gardner. Turn the clock back a couple years for Cole and Chapman. Give Kluber a chance to back up to his Cy year. I guess we have some players that I might like to see in a future year, but most of everyone here now appears to be someone that used to be better than they are now… and that means trouble… |

Three hits for the Yankees: double by Gallo, single by Torres, and an infield single from Gardy with two outs in the ninth. Heaney wasn’t good, but this offense isn’t bailing out any pitcher, unless they’re throwing a shutout. Frustrating.

I had such a great birthday! More calls/texts from friends and family than I've had for a long time! The icing on the cake would have been a Yankee win, but looks like they came up short today. I don't know whats with this offense. So much talent in the lineup but shutdown by the Orioles. Anyway, you guys wanted a review of the food. I'll compare the dishes to our players this year:
Gennaro's
Mussels: Nestor Cortes level, A Calamari: Gio Urshela level, B- Caesar Salad: DJ LeMahieu level, C Baked Ziti: Johnny Lasanga level, A Veal Francese: Aaron Judge level, A- Service: Lucas Luetge level, B+
Overall: A great Italian joint not as good as some of the places I've been in the city but still well recommended!
Now back to the gym tomorrow!
