Gallo a three true outcome guy, but one of those outcomes seems really dominant.

I remember former major leaguers Gus Gil and Benjy Gil. But their names were pronounced like the fish lung. If this guy has a son, his name should be Achilles. Do you really think that pronunciation to be true? I think they were heels, but that Americans were not ready to submit to the Hispanic pronunciations. I recall Jesus Alou and the other Jesus’s at the time being called Geezus not today’s acceptable Hey-Zeus. A couple years ago I heard Brooks Robinson in a booth guest appearance still calling players named Jesus, Geezus… poor old boy from Arkansas still not ready for change… Now I also wonder if Achilles will be pronounced A-Ki- Yas…

I expected him to be wild, but Gil is throwing strikes so far! 2 innings down with no damage! Nice! That’s the difference throwing over an MLB plate. Same 17 inches, but a bigger world…

They do know that they are allowed to score more than one run in an inning?

Odor with the weird reverse splits this year. .978 OPS against lefties. .638 OPS against righties. Grounds out here. Limping after taking the foul ball off the knee. Hope he's okay.

Wow , 1998! Makes me feel old for sure. You aren't close to being old. But it does catch up with you unbelievably quickly. Was it Dr. Johnson who said youth is wasted on the young? Do you recall a satellite sports show in the 1980s that had Rick Telander and three older sportswriters - all from the Chicago area I believe? They all called Rick Telander “Young Telander” though he was probably late thirties. Kaybli is our Young Telander of HeAmyHa. Young Kaybli.

Just going by baseballref. I don't recall Jesus Alou being called anything other than Hay Zeus. But Brooksie being from Little Rock may not have gotten the memo.
