If I'm correct there is only one position player from the original 26 man roster who has not been injured or COVIDed up or sent down and thats Brett Gardner.

Tough little SOB. It’s why we’re all still Gardnerites deep down. Just wish he could still hit .250, get on base at a .350 clip, and steal a few bases. But, Gardy was only supposed to be the fifth outfielder this season. |

I don't know what to say anymore. I thought the vaccine was supposed to stop positive cases (and transmission) but it seems there is a direct correlation between testing positive and being vaccinated? Sanchez Tests Positive |

Wow he still isn't at 220 for the season. He crested at .240 in late June. The 24th I think. But he couldn’t stand the prosperity and nosedived again. When he reached .240 I tentatively thought that he was “back”. That maybe he’d reach .260-.270 by the end of the season. Nope. Gary is Gary. It’s only hot or cold, nothing in between. You can’t say he’s a .210 hitter. He’s either a .120 hitter or a .300 hitter. It depends on what stretch he’s in… |

The vaccine does not stop anyone from catching COVID. How could it. It just kills the COVID and stops the transfer of it to others.
Wrapping someone in plastic would be the only full proof way to stop you from catching covid. Or living on the moon.
