Ten games over .500! Season high! Wonder whose going to start tomorrow? Boone didn’t get to play with Wandy today, and just couldn’t take a chance he won’t get to use him tomorrow. Clear Wendy’s return out of the way. Then, it’s a bullpen game… the brilliance never ceases. Seattle will surely crumble at our feet when they feel the weight of the strategy… Wandy Peralta starting for the Yanks. Hell freezing over. Which did YOU expect first?…Maybe Boonie will have Gallo pitch the second… you know. In case the bull pen runs short later in the game… the man is a genius…

An entire game with Boone's bullpen management, can't wait.

An entire game with Boone's bullpen management, can't wait. He’ll put on a little rumba and get the fans to chant: And a three Batter minimum A one A two A three And a three Batter minimum A one A two A three And a three…

Good advice. Rizzo can even help Torres. To an extent…The ball still has to get there in time. And within Rizzo’s reach…

Boone will be giddy with all the opportunities to make bullpen moves. He might not be able to sleep tonight with the anticipation. In his defense, what the heck else can he do?

I hope we get to see Ridings again tomorrow. Now I won’t be able to sleep, either. I know we won’t see Chappie after 30 mostly wayward pitches today. Maybe that will help me sleep a bit…

lol, I'm watching a live Steelers/Cowboys game that I didn't realize was on. Too much baseball and Olympics right now for fake football. LOL, Football is back! Some of you might remember when the first NFL pre-season game was the College All-Star Game in which the NFL champions played a team of college seniors. It wasn't terribly competitive although the college team did win a few times. The game was played at Soldier Field and ran from 1934-1976, which was longer than I would have guessed. It actually generated a fair amount of interest until its final years. Even further down the "Is This Game Necessary" scale was The Playoff Bowl, which pitted the second place finishers from the NFL's then two divisions against each other. To make it even less appealing, it was played AFTER the NFL Championship game. Vince Lombardi called it "The Sh@t Bowl" and he was right. It was played at the Orange Bowl and ran from 1960-1969.

I thought the vaccine was supposed to stop positive cases (and transmission) but it seems there is a direct correlation between testing positive and being vaccinated? Sanchez Tests PositiveYou get a flu shot, not to avoid the flu, but to decrease symptoms and to assist your immune system, if infected. It is the severity of symptoms of influenza that kill people, just like COVID. Not all vaccines are immunizations. Can the COVID vaccine prevent you from getting the virus? Yes, but not necessarily. The same is true with seasonal flu shots, especially because there are different variations of influenza, just as there are now variants of COVID-19. Appreciate the response. But, I know more people who had TERRIBLE side affects from the vax than people made really sick (or dead) from CV. One lost her baby, another had numb legs, loss of energy and is still not doing well a month later, another went into anaphylactic shock and almost died in the hospital. And yet when we talk about the side affects or deaths, social media removes them. I know 2 people who died. One was 100 years old (really), and the other was healthy and 70 BUT got it while in the hospital after recovering from surgery (so their immune system was already very down from the anaesthesia.) A relative, 70 yrs old, got it (lives in FL) and had minimal symptoms, luckily. I got my last flu shot many years ago, because it made me really really sick. I'll trust my immunity system against something that I have a 99.9999% chance of surviving. Anyway, calling an mRNA "vaccine" a "vaccine" is a misnomer as it is really gene therapy. I want no part of being a part of an experiment.

I want no part of being a part of an experiment. There is a locked thread on this forum that was dedicated to COVID-19. Unfortunately, it was locked because too many posters could not discuss the issue without becoming angry, which led to some leaving the board permanently. There is tons of information on that thread and tons of misinformation and disinformation on that thread. The reason I am telling you this is that this will be my last reply to you on this topic, in respect to our moderator. Please understand it has nothing to do with you or your questions or your position. I am more than willing to discuss the issue but not here, as the issue has been designated off limits on a baseball ⚾️ site. Sorry to hear about people you know and care about who have had adverse effects after getting the vaccine. Fortunately, no one in my family or friends or acquaintances of mine have had any ill effects other than a day of malaise, a sore arm, or one who had flu like symptoms for 24 hours. In fact, each time someone on this site received the vaccine, we kept each other aware of any negative symptoms. Happily, no one here reported any problems other than the aforementioned. As you can see, you and I have much different experiences and therefore opinions regarding the vaccine. That is the problem with anecdotal data, which illustrates the importance of scientific methods for information gathering. Frustratingly, the issue has been politicized, just as the virus was. Hence, left leaning and right leaning cable news networks and websites and social media platforms have pandered to their core customers, distorting real information and fomenting fear and anger against dissenting points of view. Essentially, sacrificing health and wellness for ratings, views, and clicks creating monetary gain. Chances are, and my apologies for incorrect presumptuousness, your mind is already convinced based upon the political slant of the sources of your information and personal experience. If that is the case nothing I say is likely to sway your preconceptions. So, I wish you good health and good luck, as you roll the dice 🎲. Personally, I hope you continue to research the issue with an open mind and actively seek out medical advice and even opposing views and sources to ensure you have enough information to argue either side of the proposition successfully. What is troubling in today’s social media dominated and politicized world is that most people know just enough to think they are correct but not enough to know they are wrong. If you believe the numbers, supposedly 90 to 95 % of people now hospitalized and dying from symptoms of COVID are unvaccinated. That last sentence either makes you anxious or angry, depending on where you receive your news. That is a tragedy in and of itself. Hopefully, some posters shall see this and message you privately, as I do not wish to continue this conversation for reasons already mentioned. I hope you take this in the spirit in which it is intended and my apologies for stopping the discussion here.
