3-2 hanging breaking ball from Green. That’s not the good Green.

You’re the only person I am aware of trashing the Field of Dreams game. Of course, you’re the only person in favor of the Jonathan Davis move, too. I liked the game but I think MLB will over play it and shove it down our throats and it will quickly lose it's appeal. Cubs/Cardinals next year in Iowa. Exactly. It’s a contrived “special event”. It’s baseball in England again to me…

Boone's decisions are odd. Peralta can face the dangerous Roberts but not Vaughn, who's hitting under .220.

Green gets Collins to close the inning. The real test will be against the top of the lineup in the 9th. Some insurance runs would be nice.

If this game had been in tat stupid cornfield there would be about eight or nine home runs… You’re the only person I am aware of trashing the Field of Dreams game. Of course, you were the only person in favor of the Jonathan Davis pick up, too. I didn’t “like” it. I understood it from a baseball business perspective. I still realize that Greg Allen was unlikely to continue to play near Kenny Lofton level in MLB. Given the lack of production from Davis, I wouldn't be surprised if the Yanks turned the table and DFA’d him soon…

He looks athletic.” Inger on Davis now: “I understood it from a baseball perspective.” What was the baseball perspective again that sent two outfielders with speed that could both play all three outfield positions to AAA, when each had performed well after their call up with .900+ OPS?

One run lead will have to do. We’ve said that so many times this season. Awful hitting team comparatively to the last few seasons.

I'd feel a lot better if Green doesn't allow a hit/walk to Tim Anderson to start the inning.
