Playoff implications:
Yankees win the season series vs the White Sox taking 5 of 6. Could be important if the Yankees come back for the division cause that would give them a seeding tiebreaker.
Red Sox win 6-2
A's lose 7-4
Rays lose 5-4
Toronto 6-1 against Seattle in 6th
So that puts it at:
Rays 47 losses
Astros 46 losses or 47 losses depending on result vs LAA *
White Sox 50 losses *
A's 50 losses
Red Sox 51 losses +
Yankees 52 losses
Toronto 54 losses
Seattle 55 loses (most likely will be 56) *
So a win tomorrow is important to stay just 1 loss behind the Red Sox going into this coming series.
