How are we gonna divvy up playing time at first base? They won't let Stanton play OF every day. They should put Stanton in the OF, let Voit and Rizzo split 1B and DH. Gallo sits. |

Luke Voit being a plus hitter alone is not a good reason to keep him. What is a good reason is that Rizzo is not signed for next season. I don’t see the Yankees attempting to sign him during a post season race. It’s a perplexing situation. Voit could bring back a huge piece, although a trade would surely be hard to pass through waivers at this point in the season…

Voit will be cheap, Rizzo will not. |
