Happy to say I was wrong about tonight. Didn’t think we could win with Heaney on the mound. Nice to have the day off tomorrow before a big series in Oakland.

Britton likely done for year, Chapman isn't reliable, Yanks gonna need some BP help from guys like Schmidt, German, King, maybe Severino come September and October. Won 10 straight series, 1st time since 1954. Wtf lol. Pretty crazy stuff man.

I was sweating almost as much as Chapman. Is a two game sweep worthy of bring out McBroom?

I have a feeling this has never happened before (except at the all-star break). Team wins 11 in a row just prior to having two scheduled days off…Hmm odd. And Atlanta has two days off now too. No matter which team extended to 11, there was going to be a two game break. Weird schedule…

Hearney has pitched two good games in a row against good teams.
We need a closer, but no way we will get one this year. Would have been better to keep Ottavino and say good by to Brittan

I didn’t see it when I checked the schedule. I think the sooner back on the field the better. I might have missed that game…🤓

Anyone miss Mike Tauchman now? I’d take him over Jonathan Davis…

Playoff implications:
Toronto lost 5-2 Seattle won 5-1 A's lost 5-1 Rays won 3-1 Red sox won 11-9
So that puts it at:
Rays 48 losses (7-9 Season series, 3 left) Yankees 52 losses Astros 52 losses * White Sox 54 losses * Red Sox 55 losses + A's 57 losses (Yankees lead season series 2-1, 4 left) Seattle 58 losses * Toronto 59 losses (6-6 season series, 7 left)
Amazing how Seattle has almost caught the A's and Toronto has fallen so far back.
*= Yankees have clinched season series vs these teams + = Yankees cannot win season series vs these teams
