Judge polishes it off in true Yankee style with a DP. Maybe we need to lose a few more do we can get our backs against the wall…

Rizzo appears to be the only hitter in the lineup that makes adjustments while at the plate. This group offensively are a one trick pony, and opposing pitchers have taken it away all year by pounding fastballs inside that yield soft contact. It's refreshing to see someone like Rizzo come in and show there's a way to get on base other than brute strength or hoping a 3-2 pitch is called a ball. The club's offensively profile needs to be addressed this winter, among a bunch of other things like infield defense, rotation, overall athleticism, and BP depth. |

Well that was pathetic. I was distracted with some work around the house. Probably for the better.
The hopeful thing is we're a very streaky team so maybe we can turn this thing around just as quick as it went down the crapper.  |

I believe its time to have Torres grab a hamstring and go on the IL. We have plenty of infielders. Call up Allen and give Gallo a day or 4 off.(to be certain I don't blame Gallo for the loss today) He has hit horribly and struck out 49% of his at bats. I don't care what side of the plate he hits from when he can't hit. Change things up a little.
