My mind has gone foggy as to the time line of Hockeyboards joining up with all the others …. And the whole Kevin/Mark Cuban debacle …. But I remember trane, his enthusiasm, trying to convert a hockey fan to a baseball one. 😁
My board, and there were only 2 mods, fielded over 10,000 posts in something like 6 hours on that day. And I spent the day putting out fires, deleting/editing/crying. And everyone who knew trane, seeing his last post at something like 8:15 that morning. Trying to get him to respond to us.
I was also frantically dialing my friend who lives in Manhattan, trying to get int touch with her to find out if she & her NYPD brother were okay. They were thankfully.
s long as my brother in law doesn’t find out I’m here I should be okay …. 😉 I’m ‘supposed’ to root for his Red Sox.

I was born about halfway between Philadelphia and Baltimore in Northern Maryland, so I was supposed to root for the Orioles with the Phillies a distant second. What a difference-maker he could be… He was advertised as perhaps having turned a corner as a hitter. Sadly, it was south on the interstate. He’s at least down to Georgia now. Getting him to turn north has been problematic… |

Stupid Orioles up 3 gave up 4 runs in the 7th of a 7 inning game. Blue Jays now tied with us.
