If Yankees win today and Blue Jays lose then the Yankees can clinch with 2 wins in Toronto.

But has anything been that easy this year? … Well that's the math the magic number is 6 every win or blue jay loss decreases it by 1 so on a day the Yankees win and blue Jays lose it decreases it by 2 therefore any head to head win is minus 2 off that number. So yea win today -1 blue Jays loss today -1 puts it down to 4 and then they just need 2 head to head wins to take them out. Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves first just win today first. |
