Britton has essentially been hurt all season. Chapman is ninth in MLB in saves. Cole has never given up 11 runs in a start, and in 21 of his 30 starts this season he has allowed two earned runs or fewer and has a chance to become the Yankees all time single season strikeout leader tonight. I thought Cole pitched in the game where six unearned runs scored. I guess that does not count against his ERA but the runs still scored. Chapman is not even our regular closer any more. Being hurt is still not producing. My point is maybe we pay to much and should invest it elsewhere I wish you well in all future endeavors. |

I think they need to move forward with having laser beams call balls and strikes. Plus how do you argue with a laser beam if you disagree with its call... There is still human interaction. The laser beams must be set correctly. I’m going g to assume readers within the uniform for up and down, within the plate for the width… |

It seems like the pitchers we paid a fortune to this year, Cole, Chapman, Britain, did not deliver when it really mattered. If we lose tonight we are back where we were yesterday. It could be worse.
