The lineup: Velazquez is back and in the lineup. Abreu was sent down to make room. The guy who was optioned today was the guy they used in the pivotal moment yesterday to keep the deficit at 1 with a playoff berth on the line. Makes a lot of sense. 
Also, I love Squidy as much as the next guy, but wouldn't it be better to start Wade?

Not certain. When Wade was red hot, the answer would have been no. Of course, they sat him at that point. I guess they only see Wade as a pinch runner and defensive plug and play guy. |
