Wade Boggs. Had to forgive him for the RedSox years, but once i did, he made a fine Yankee.
Remember his Rookie year in Boston? He Wally Pipped Carney Langford when Lansford went down with an injury and Boggs hit .349…

He Wally Pipped Carney Langford when Lansford went down with an injury and Boggs hit .349… Carney Lansford was rock solid. He hit .300 five times, including two years at .336, the first of which was a batting title. |
