Carney Lansford was rock solid. He hit .300 five times, including two years at .336, the first of which was a batting title. Under rated star of his era. I wonder what he’d do today? Woukd he succumb to the launch angle, strike me out or I’ll hit a home run game plan?… Probably the same thing he did back then - hit to all fields and behind the runner with men in scoring position.

Its okay. Inger is picture posting challenged. I usually edit in a picture for him. He gives a little blurb, thats good enough.
Yankee hitting coach for about 4 minutes before jumping to the Mets, Eric Chavez:

Taking me back to 2019. The Yankees, suffering pitching problems and lack of athleticism on the roster decide to do the most logical thing. They grab oafish DH Edwin Encarnacion. Problems solved, right? …

Since inger can't follow the thread rules lol I have no idea why I can’t get pictures to post. I send photos to people on PMs. I e-mail them. I’ve air-dropped them. But for some reason, I can’t get them on this forum. But… I like the reputation of outlaw that won’t follow the rules. Rebel without a cause. Assh*le rule breaker of the forum. Serial killer. Ne’er do well. The Joker… Beelzebub, el Diablo…

Inger the badass, thats cute. Nick Tropeano signed a minor league deal with the Yanks in 2020 so I guess that counts.

Ned Garvin. Played for the Yankees in 1904. 2.72 Career ERA, but somehow a career record of 57-97. Nicknamed the The Navasota Tarantula. (I feel theres prob like 50 Yankees that start with the name J, but we will prob get to none of those because whose last name ends in J? like is that even a thing?)

Eat, Eaten, Ate. Never Etten. Unless maybe the Pennsylvania Dutch. Here get an English lesson right amidst the chain of names. History. English. Noetsi could drop a little math lesson at any second. Dome for social studies (law suit in waiting). Rizzuto is that substitute teacher that’s better than all your other teachers but doesn’t want to teach full time in a class room so he teaches gym class. Then, just when we think the school is running fine, Dean Pipps will return and straighten it all out…
