Sadly, that would be the end for Gardner, because Hicks would become the #4. Our best option right now would be to give Locastro and his wheels a shot at the job in center… |

Something has to give, because they have a Rizzo/Voit & Gleyber/DJ logjam right now. I think Voit's going to traded soon. I would hold on to Gleyber/DJ. There's always injuries. |

One of Locastro and Alfalfa might lead off, or bat 2nd… I don’t love DJLM as a lead off hitter…I have a suspicion Rizzo may bat 2nd. If Locastro can get on base ahead of a contact bat like Rizzo’s, we might raise some hell… |

It’s not over yet…as far as taking chances, they are. They’re gambling on Volpe and Co. on the Martian. On young pitchers.
