Ha ha, well said guys. I guess post counts come down to the game threads. If you consistently contribute to them, your post count will rise quickly. I much rather talk baseball with you guys than watch the game by myself. So that is the secret to your success!?!?! I haven't been in a game thread in years. I can't keep up with you guys, you are too fast for me.

Oh, and Chi's secret to success is one yearly deep dish Chicago style pizza eaten after running a marathon. It fuels him for the year.

That's a lot of work!

Please don't mention marathons..for the first time in my life, I've been hit with plantar fasciitis in my left foot. It's as bad as all the horror stories that I heard or read about in the past. It's kind of pathetic how my mood swings go based on my running, not being able to run has left me very irritable the past couple of weeks.

Have you tried other types of cardio to help you at least put your body in motion? Maybe like a rowing machine or something? Do you do weight training on the side?

In all seriousness, appreciate the game thread and that it works for the majority of posters but I guess I'm just too easily distracted.

I recently dealt with PF and what worked for me was an adjustable slant board that you stand on. I had a mild case but doing this several times a day cleared it up really fast.

I've been doing a combination of exercises that I received from my chiropractor and a running friend, plus I've been icing a lot, usually during Yankee games. This seems to be working but I just lack patience for an injury like this.

Thanks Kay, yeah, I've been using the bike and elliptical at my gym. (So boring). I try to do weight training but I blow it off a lot, there's just not enough time in the day.

Well at least you're still keeping your body moving! Hope that PF heels up quickly! Maybe you can hit up Jacoby Ellbury for some tips! I kid I kid Chi is a thousand times the trooper Ellsbury was.

Wait til you get old-ass-fasciitis… But I had PF a couple times and even played CF with it. I’d limp out to the field and run like a deer after the ball, the limp back to my position. The running pain was bad. Some guys thought I was faking the limp. “how come you can run when the ball is hit?” “I have to. It needs to be caught!”…
