If they say he’s out until May, that means baseball, specifically, pitching activities. So we won’t see him on the mound until June sometime.

I heard that, but does that mean pitching exercises or just playing catch like any other player? Semantics, or real progress. I thought the real ST pitching activities were still some ways off still.

You have to hope he’s okay. These sort of injuries are inevitable when there are multiple events occurring on a training field...

Speaking of German...just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water... ba-Dah... ba-Dah... ba-Dah... Jaws, the giant gopher returns...

Tyler Wade has been optioned to triple A. Surprising move, I thought he did enough in spring training to make the team.

Tyler Wade has been optioned to triple A. Surprising move, I thought he did enough in spring training to make the team. I have lots of mixed emotions about this trade for such a minor deal. I liked Diehl. I like what I've read about Tauchman and see that he's hit everywhere he's been except MLB in just a bit more that a small sample. But it's really two small samples with only one of those being really HORRIBLE. He has a great defensive rep., and potentially strong left handed line drive bat that could take advantage of the stadium. I was happy for Wade because he appeared to be getting one more chance that I would love to see him get. Now, he's been showcased and will likely be ticketed for trade. Bad for him, good for Estrada, perhaps???
