Hail delay! Fun! Those are baby stones in Colorado… Sometimes we get softballs… It hailed on my way to work on Monday or Tuesday, then it was beautiful by the afternoon, not even a hint of a storm.

17 years ago. Time to let it go? What's funny about it is I could see if Womack was a bum but this guy was an all star and led the league in stolen bases 3 times. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk He was a bum with the Yankees, that's all that matters to me.

Hicks killed whatever enthusiasm this team had coming into this game. Talk about wind taken out of the sails.

I saw that Boone was trending on Twitter and had to take a look. He's getting roasted.

4 whole games at 42 years old in 2001. He was traded in October of that year so he could play with his son. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Rizz was asking about Willie Keeler. He did not. I was wrong… Maybe it's a trick question since Wee Willie played for the original Baltimore Orioles.

What a thrill for me to be stuck on MASN watching an Orioles/Twins game from the 70’s during the rain delay…

I've switched to the NBA Playoffs until the Yankees come back.

I'm checking out Wee Willie Keeler's stats on Baseball Reference. In 1899, while playing for the Brooklyn Superbas, Keeler had 633 plate appearances and struck out twice. Two times all season! Heck, guys can match that today in a couple of innings.

The spine was about 8” thick and broken down…

Even when I was a boy, it was so rare to strike out, and quite an embarrassment… I’m thinking that before 1900 the guys could still use those thick “bottle bats”…

I don't like bringing my phone into the bathroom.

I was on the throne yesterday when an old acquaintance tried to call me via FACETIME. No thanks…
