I'm checking out Wee Willie Keeler's stats on Baseball Reference. In 1899, while playing for the Brooklyn Superbas, Keeler had 633 plate appearances and struck out twice. Two times all season! Heck, guys can match that today in a couple of innings. Before Al Gore invented the Internet, I used to keep those giant Baseball Encylcopedia volumes next to me during games. The spine was about 8” thick and broken down… You should get that looked at.  |

I still have piles of Baseball Prospectuses in my bathroom for crapper reading. 
I don't like bringing my phone into the bathroom.
I was on the throne yesterday when an old acquaintance tried to call me via FACETIME. No thanks… It works to deter telemarketers. |
