Looks like Sears will get the win, his first in the big leagues.
Also, the first big league save for Holmes and he looked like a closer tonight.

Should he be the starter? Higgy looks kinda lost.. He's definitely earned more starts. He’s darned good behind the plate, but he’s not going to suddenly blossom into the next Bill Dickey. Higgy is lost, be he’ll find his way back. And to be honest, I’m hoping we get a good look at Ben Rortvedt before the year is over. Trevino is quickly becoming a cult favorite, but his lifetime batting marks are limp. Take what we get while we’re getting it, but temper your expectations… |
