Sevy's pitch count soared that inning.

Guts right there! Nice job to preserve the lead by Sevy. The one change up I saw looked to be rolling, no breaking sharply.

Quiet here tonight I see. I’ve been watching but also babysitting the pups, post surgery. They’re doing really well… also got microchipped and their rattlesnake venom shots… You live somewhere special when the dogs need rattlesnake venom shots! So far I haven’t seen one in 5 years, but they do pop up in reports on Facebook in the area. The thing about these little shitz is that they’ve torn the underpinning, which was a lattice off our deck and go under there. They’re into everything, so if there is a snake out there, they’re going to find it. We have rattlers, some small rather insignificant scorpions, cougars, lynx, bobcat, bears. The only thing I’ve personally seen in the neighborhood are a couple of non-venomous snakes, one scorpion. We get some really cute lizards every year. I have seen cougar tracks within a couple miles of us. Almost forgot coyotes, but they seem to have relocated lately because our rabbit population has shrunk due to some diseases that have knocked it down. It’s amazing how many rabbits this area has (had). They’ll be back… the little bunnies and those crazy big Jack rabbits with ears up to my waist.

Seve picks a good time to get his first k. His command hasn’t been as good tonight, but he’s got us this far… Rodriguez has looked terrible and we haven’t solved him yet…

My boyhood dog used to grab snakes by the head and shake. In a few seconds, the body went one way and then the head was dropped. The only thing I worried about were raccoons, which would try to lure dogs to water to drown them.

Sevy has good stuff and it showed in that last inning. I agree with rizzuto, his change up was off. Threw 4 straight to one batter like he was willing it to be good.
