I believe Cole just didn't want Sandwich to catch him, and I cannot hold that against Cole. Also, Trevino is a better defensive catcher than Higgy, and he's been hitting. It's unfortunate because he's a nice guy, but Kyle Higashioka is squandering any chance at being a full-time starting catcher in the big leagues, and he's been given the opportunities that someone like Francisco Cervelli deserved and did not get with the Yankees. Plus, Higgy is already 32 years old. Time to move on… Higgy seems to be good in small doses when giving more exposure he cools off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
