Gullett was only 26 when the Yankees got him, but injuries did him in or he would have been outstanding. Remember Britt Burns?. Got him from the White Sox and he never pitched an inning. I didn't realize he was that young...but to a nine year old... I do not recall Britt Burns. I though Gullett was THE guy to get… So sad… Britt Burns was known to have a hip or back or something like that. Just a dumb move… Loaded with talent, but broken… |

He had a career 109-50 record (.686) when his career ended early in his age 27 season. In his brief tenure with the Yankees he went 18-6. |
