Back in the day we had several UK posters and El Maestro in Venezuela. There was a guy named Miguel who seemed to gravitate between Israel and Uruguay. I'm sure there were other countries represented.

Not from that state that's "too small to be a republic but too large to be an insane asylum" and where they make barbeque sauce out of mustard. From the other Carolina. Are you a college hoops fan? Yes. But my school has taken a decade plus long hiatus from competitive hoops. My better half is a 7 year graduate from that powder blue school in Chapel Hill.

I'm in Boston getting a PET-scan, but my heart belongs in Burlington and with the Gators.

The Mets had three guys with options that they could have sent down to keep Cano. To me, it signals not wanting any luster taken off of what should be a great season for them, if they stay healthy. The veteran leadership of Albert Pujols means something, not so much from Cano, who didn't want to be badgered about running hard to first, didn't want to bat second, didn't want to play for Girardi, and wanted no part of leading a team in NY once Jeter was gone. Vaya con Dios.
