IKF making a doubtful decision and ends up in a dp. But we do tie it.

I don't know how anyone can say that Randy Johnson didn't care. He pitched most of his second season in NY with persistent back pain. Do you know how hard that is to do? If he didn't care, he could have just shut it down, went on the DL and collected his money.

Probably no option but we lose Stanton if it goes to extra innings.

You have one thing correct - I cite evidence, which you never do. And, I can also read with comprehension, with which you struggle greatly. Also, I do not argue for the sake of being contrary, which you have admitted more than once that you do intentionally. My only confusion is how you continually cite erroneous data to base muddleheaded opinions, and then get angry when others disagree, though you say you like to argue with people just to have fun. Whose reality is skewed? So again you cite no facts just insults. Which pretty much is your normal post. Your opinion is not a fact although you tend to confuse the two. I cite plenty of facts you simply automatically ignore them. You are one of the most arrogant posters I have met in twenty years on this board. In the future I will do both of us a favor and not read your posts. Just admit that you are upset that you read the Wikipedia article incorrectly and offered an opinion based upon the misread information. You are upset that I posted the correction with the actual evidence cited from baseball-reference.com that Mario Mendoza played nine seasons, not four, and that I was correct that you had probably misread the article, which you indeed had. Now, you are upset that I cited evidence that Randy Johnson - far from being some abject disappointment - like say Carl Pavano - actually won 34 games in two seasons at age 41 and 42 years old and threw over 430 innings, while needing back surgery - all facts in evidence. What was your evidence? "No one I have talked to agrees." and the wonderfully affecting, "He pretty much admitted that." Please cite your attributions to this "evidence."

Interesting that Chapman is not being saved for a save opportunity…

Bleacher Report? Did you notice the name of the author? The well-respected..."Greg." No last name. How in the world did you obtain your degrees? Even so, from the immortal Greg, who writes, "That said, Yankee fans don't give him enough credit for what he did do. At the time, the Yankees had one of the worst defenses in baseball. That can't help a veteran pitcher whose strikeout rate was steadily declining from over 10 to under seven. T he additional balls in play with a weak defense behind him really hurt.Johnson's personality was not fit for New York, nor was his talent set. Johnson is one of the greatest pitchers in the history of baseball, but his time with the Yankees did not exemplify that. He was still quite a pitcher, who put up decent FIP numbers."
