You have to like the Cubs leadoff hitter Morel. Fist bumps the catcher and ump, tips his helmet to the pitcher. Plus hitting almost .300. Shucks, only batter I missed… I think he only does it his first AB. He's a rookie and seems genuine, like Fidrych. We'll see how it goes.

Hit with some Friday night work so while the game will be on in the background I won't be posting much until I'm done. Do you still have that link, Kay?

This would normally go in the BS thread, but since we’re playing Chicago…
The Cubs have existed since 1876. On April 9, 1969 Billy Williams hit a record tying 4 doubles in one game (I think this is one of the MOST likely records to be broken soon). Matt Murton is the only other Cub to match the feat, on 8-3-2006…

Only a HBP of Rizzo for offense in the Yanks' first.

Miley really works quickly, and the Yankees are stepping out a lot to try to slow him down.

Only a HBP of Rizzo for offense in the Yanks' first. Not a nice way for the Cubs to treat a north side hero.

Boone's not just giving them a run.
